The Territorial Planning Court dealt with an appeal against the Cantonal State Council's approval of a municipal zoning-plan variant. Before the merits were decided, the parties concluded a settlement on 11 March 1996 and withdrew the appeal. The court therefore held that the case had become moot and ordered the proceedings struck from the roll. It further decided that no court fees or costs would be charged.
