The Tax Chamber of the Ticino Court of Appeal dealt with an appeal concerning IC/IFD 1995/1996. Before a merits decision was taken, the appellants' representative informed the court by letter of 3 August 1999 that the appeal was withdrawn. The court held that the proceedings had thus become moot and ordered the case struck off the docket. It further decided that no costs and no justice fee would be charged.
