The appellant challenged a State Council award of glazing works but withdrew the appeal on 3 April 2002. The president of the Ticino Administrative Court therefore struck the case from the docket on 8 April 2002. The court held that the proceedings were exhausted and ordered that no fees or costs be levied.
Withdrawal of an administrative appeal renders the proceedings moot and leads to striking the case from the docket; where the appeal is withdrawn before adjudication, the court may terminate the matter without imposing court fees or costs.
