The Ticino Administrative Court dealt with an appeal against a State Council decision revoking a driving licence. Before the court decided the merits, the appellant's lawyer informed the court that the appeal was withdrawn. The court therefore found the proceedings exhausted and ordered the appeal stricken from the docket. It also decided that no court fees or costs would be charged.

Where the appellant withdraws the appeal, the administrative court strikes the matter from the docket because the dispute is extinguished. In such a procedural termination, the court may order that no fees or costs be levied, as expressly stated in the dispositive part.
