RI 1, represented by RA 1, appealed a decision of the Ufficio del sostegno sociale e dell'inserimento concerning LAPS benefits. At the hearing of 20 July 2005, the appellant withdrew the appeal. The Ticino Cantonal Insurance Court, presided over by Judge Daniele Cattaneo, held that the case had become moot and ordered it removed from the docket. No court fees or costs were imposed.
Withdrawal of the appeal renders the proceedings devoid of object and warrants striking the case from the docket; in such a situation, and absent special circumstances, no court fees or costs are levied. The court may dispose of the matter by decree after noting the withdrawal at hearing and the consequent mootness (consid. 1-2).

la decisione 26.01.05 n. 222.05.208 emanata da
Ufficio del sostegno sociale e dell'inserimento, 6501 Bellinzona
in materia di Legge sull’armonizzazione e il coordinamento delle prestazioni sociali (LAPS)
letti ed esaminati gli atti;
vista la risposta 17.05.05 della parte convenuta che propone la reiezione del gravame;
rilevato che, in occasione dell’udienza tenutasi il 20 luglio 2005, il ricorrente e il suo patrocinatore hanno comunicato di ritirare il ricorso (cfr. Doc. XV);
rilevato che la causa è divenuta priva di oggetto;
viste le disposizioni della Legge di procedura 6.4.1961;
decreta 1. la causa è stralciata dai ruoli:
non si prelevano né tasse né spese;
intimazione alle parti a sensi ed effetti di legge.
