The appellant withdrew the appeal against the 24 September 2001 decision of the Cantonal Compensation Fund concerning supplementary benefits. The Cantonal Insurance Court, sitting through its delegated judge Ivano Ranzanici, held that the case had become moot and ordered it struck from the docket. It also decided that no court fees or costs would be charged.
Ritiro del ricorso; causa divenuta priva di oggetto; stralcio dai ruoli e nessuna tassa o spesa. When an appeal is expressly withdrawn, the court no longer has a live controversy to adjudicate and must remove the proceeding from the docket. In such circumstances, and absent contrary procedural grounds, no court fees or costs are levied; the decision is confined to the formal termination of the proceedings (cf. consid. 1-2).

richiamata l'ordinanza 25 ottobre 2001 con la quale il Tribunale ha assegnato alla parte convenuta il termine di rito per presentare la risposta;
vista la lettera 12 febbraio 2002 della parte ricorrente che comunica il ritiro del ricorso (cfr. Doc. _);
rilevato che la causa è divenuta priva di oggetto;
viste le disposizioni della Legge di procedura 6.4.61;
decreta 1. la causa è stralciata dai ruoli;
non si percepiscono né tasse né spese;
intimazione alle parti a sensi ed effetti di legge.
