Two appellants challenged decisions of the cantonal compensation fund concerning supplementary benefits. Before the respondent filed its answer, the appellants informed the Ticino Insurance Court that they were withdrawing the appeals. The court held that the cases had become moot, ordered them struck from the docket, and decided that no court fees or costs would be collected.
Withdrawal of an appeal renders the proceedings without object; the court may strike the case from the docket. In such a situation, and absent contrary reasons, no court fees or party costs are charged. The principle applies equally where several coordinated appeals are withdrawn together (consid. implicit).

decreta 1. le cause sono stralciate dai ruoli;

intimazione alle parti a sensi ed effetti di legge.
