The claimant appealed a 14 May 2001 decision of the Cantonal Compensation Fund concerning supplementary benefits. The Ticino Insurance Court fixed the respondent's deadline to answer, but before the case proceeded on the merits the appellant informed the court by letter of 15 August 2001 that the appeal was withdrawn. The court therefore held that the matter had become moot, struck the case from the docket, and ordered that no court fees or costs be collected.

When the appellant withdraws the appeal before judgment, the court must take note of the withdrawal, declare the case devoid of object, and strike it from the roll. rilevato che la causa è divenuta priva di oggetto;
viste le disposizioni della Legge di procedura 6.4.61;
decreta 1. la causa è stralciata dai ruoli;
non si percepiscono né tasse né spese;
intimazione alle parti a sensi ed effetti di legge.
