The President of the Pretura penale dealt with an appeal against a 17 January 2003 decision of the Sezione dei permessi e dell'immigrazione. After the appellant informed the court on 2 April 2003 that the appeal was withdrawn, the court struck the case from the docket. It also ordered that no taxes or expenses be charged.
Withdrawal of the appeal; strike-off from the docket follows without examination of the merits. Where the appellant withdraws the remedy, the appellate court removes the proceeding from the roll and may order that no fees or costs be levied.
