The President of the Pretura penale ruled on an appeal against a decision of the Sezione della circolazione. After the administrative authority asked on 13 May 2003 that its own decision of 11 April 2003 be annulled, the court annulled that decision and struck the appeal from the roll. No fees or costs were charged.
Procedural termination of an appeal at the request of the challenged authority; where the authority asks that its own decision be annulled, the court may annul the contested decision and strike the proceedings off the roll without entering into the merits. In such a situation, no court costs are imposed (consid. 1-2).
