The Pretura penale dealt with an appeal against a 24 May 2002 decision of the Sezione dei permessi e dell'immigrazione. Before judgment, the appellant withdrew the appeal in writing on 8 January 2003 and also paid the fine. The court therefore struck the matter from the rolls and ordered that no court fees or costs be charged.
