The Pretura penale of Bellinzona ordered that criminal proceedings for conversion of a fine into arrest be struck off the roll because the amount due had already been paid. The order was issued by President Marco Kraushaar and the parties were notified.
Payment of the fine renders moot the criminal conversion proceedings aimed at replacing the fine with arrest; where the amount due has been settled, the competent court must strike the matter from the roll and terminate the procedure.
