The defendant withdrew her objection to a summary penalty order. The Pretura penale therefore struck the case from the docket, cancelled the already scheduled public hearing, and declared the penalty order enforceable. The court also charged the objector with a judicial fee of CHF 50 and court costs of CHF 30, for a total of CHF 80.

Art. 210 CPP; withdrawal of an objection to a summary penalty order: once the objection is withdrawn, the objection proceedings lapse, the scheduled hearing is cancelled, and the summary penalty order becomes enforceable. The objecting party may be charged with the costs of the discontinuance order, including judicial fees and court costs, as a consequence of the withdrawal (consid. 1-3).
