The defendant appealed a conviction for negligent violation of traffic rules but withdrew the appeal before the appellate court ruled on the merits. Withdrawal of appeal; discontinuance of appellate proceedings and costs: if the appellant withdraws a duly filed criminal appeal, the appellate court closes the proceedings and strikes the matter off the docket under the applicable cantonal procedural rules. The withdrawal prevents a merits review; the court then decides only the procedural consequence of termination and the allocation of second-instance costs (consid. 1).

hat die Kantonsgerichtsvizepräsidentin,
nachdem sich ergeben und in Erwägung:
dass die Beschuldigte gegen das Urteil des Einzelrichters am Bezirksgericht March vom 10. September 2019 innert Frist am 17. September 2019 Berufung anmeldete (Vi-act. 51; Art. 399 Abs. 1 StPO);
dass das begründete Urteil am 23. Januar 2020 zum Versand kam;
dass die Beschuldigte mit Schreiben vom 11. Februar 2020 dem Kantonsgericht den Rückzug der (angemeldeten) Berufung bekanntgab
(KG-act. 4);
dass demnach das Verfahren zufolge Rückzugs der Berufung präsidial in Anwendung von § 40 Abs. 2 JG (i.V.m. § 41 Abs. 1 JG) abzuschreiben ist;
dass die Gerichtskosten der zweiten Instanz bei diesem Ausgang zu Lasten des Staates gehen;-
verfügt:
1. Die Berufung wird als durch Rückzug erledigt abgeschrieben.
2. Die zweitinstanzlichen Gerichtskosten von Fr. 300.00 gehen zu Lasten des Staates.
3. Gegen diesen Entscheid kann innert 30 Tagen seit Zustellung nach Massgabe von Art. 78 ff. des Bundesgerichtsgesetzes *Beschwerde in Strafsachen * beim Bundesgericht in Lausanne eingereicht werden. Die Beschwerdeschrift muss den Anforderungen von Art. 42 BGG entsprechen.
4. Zufertigung an Rechtsanwalt B.________ (2/R), die Oberstaatsanwaltschaft des Kantons Schwyz (1/R, inkl. Doppel von KG-act. 4), die Staatsanwaltschaft March (1/A, inkl. Kopie von KG-act. 4) und an die Vorinstanz (1/A) sowie nach definitiver Erledigung an die Vorinstanz (1/R, unter Rückgabe der Akten) und an die Kantonsgerichtskasse (1/ü, im Dispositiv).
