The Schwyz Cantonal Court dealt with an appeal against the first-instance order that dismissed a bankruptcy proceeding as moot. After the appellant asked to confine her appeal to the parallel bankruptcy case, the court treated this as a withdrawal of the present appeal and struck the proceeding out as moot. It further waived court costs and awarded no party compensation because no appreciable work had been caused.
§ 40 Abs. 2 JG; withdrawal of the appeal renders the appellate proceeding moot and allows it to be struck off ex officio. Where the appellant expressly limits the appeal to another parallel file, the request is construed as a withdrawal for the present proceeding. In such a situation, the court may exceptionally refrain from levying costs and, absent compensable work, no party compensation is due (consid. 2).

(Beschwerde gegen die Verfügung des Einzelrichters am Bezirksgericht Einsiedeln vom 27. Juni 2018, ZES 2018 141);-
hat der Kantonsgerichtspräsident,
nachdem sich ergeben und in Erwägung:
dass der Einzelrichter am Bezirksgericht Einsiedeln mit Verfügung vom 27. Juni 2018 im Parallelverfahren ZES 2018 140 über A.________ (nachfolgend Gesuchsgegnerin) den Konkurs eröffnete und das vorliegende vor-instanzliche Verfahren ZES 2018 141 betreffend Konkursbegehren zwischen den gleichen Parteien mit Verfügung vom gleichen Tag als gegenstandslos abschrieb und auf das Ausstandsbegehren gegen den Gerichtspräsidenten und Einzelrichter nicht eintrat;
dass die Gesuchsgegnerin mit Beschwerde vom 28. Juni auch die Abschreibungsverfügung im Verfahren ZES 2018 141 anfocht;
dass die Gesuchsgegnerin mit Eingabe vom 3. Juli 2018 darum ersucht, ihre Beschwerde nur auf das Konkursverfahren in Sachen ZES 2018 140 zu begrenzen, was als Rückzug der Beschwerde im Verfahren ZES 2018 141 entgegen zu nehmen ist;
dass auf Kostenerhebung ausnahmsweise zu verzichten ist und mangels Aufwand keine Parteientschädigungen zuzusprechen sind;
dass die Abschreibung des Verfahrens gemäss § 40 Abs. 2 JG in die Kompetenz des Gerichtpräsidenten fällt;-
verfügt:
1. Das Beschwerdeverfahren wird als gegenstandslos abgeschrieben.
2. Auf Kostenerhebung wird verzichtet.
3. Gegen diesen Entscheid kann innert 30 Tagen seit Zustellung nach Massgabe von Art. 72 ff. des Bundesgerichtsgesetzes (BGG) *Beschwerde in Zivilsachen * beim Bundesgericht in Lausanne eingereicht werden; die Beschwerdeschrift muss den Anforderungen von Art. 42 BGG entsprechen.
4. Zufertigung an A.________ (1/R), die B.________ (1/R), die Vorinstanz (1/A), das Konkursamt Einsiedeln (1/R, z.K.) sowie nach definitiver Erledigung an die Vorinstanz (1/R).
