The appellant challenged a cantonal interim order in a social insurance matter. The Federal Supreme Court noted that the appellant had been ordered to pay an advance on costs by 8 September 2009, but failed to do so even within the extended deadline. The court therefore refused to enter into the appeal in simplified proceedings. In view of the circumstances, it waived the collection of court costs. The decision was notified to the parties, the cantonal court, and the Federal Office of Public Health.
Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG, Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a BGG; non-payment of an ordered advance on costs after expiry of the additional deadline entails non-entry into the appeal in simplified proceedings. The court may waive the collection of court costs under Art. 66 Abs. 1 Satz 2 BGG where the circumstances so justify. The non-entry decision follows automatically once the procedural prerequisite for payment of the advance has lapsed; no examination of the merits takes place.

in die Verfügung vom 28. August 2009, mit welcher S.________ zur Bezahlung eines Kostenvorschusses innert einer Nachfrist bis zum 8. September 2009 verpflichtet wurde, ansonsten auf das Rechtsmittel nicht eingetreten werde,
in Erwägung,
dass die Beschwerdeführerin den Vorschuss auch innerhalb der Nachfrist nicht geleistet hat,
dass deshalb gestützt auf Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG im vereinfachten Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a BGG auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist und in Anwendung von Art. 66 Abs. 1 Satz 2 BGG umständehalber auf die Erhebung von Gerichtskosten verzichtet wird,
erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien, dem Verwaltungsgericht des Kantons Bern, Sozialversicherungsrechtliche Abteilung, und dem Bundesamt für Gesundheit schriftlich mitgeteilt.
