in Erwägung,
dass gemäss Art. 42 Abs. 1 und 2 BGG die Beschwerde unter anderem die Begehren und deren Begründung zu enthalten hat, wobei in der Begründung in gedrängter Form darzulegen ist, inwiefern der angefochtene Akt Recht verletzt,
dass die Eingabe vom 10. Mai 2012 diesen Anforderungen offensichtlich nicht genügt, weil darin eine Auseinandersetzung mit den Erwägungen des angefochtenen Entscheids gänzlich fehlt (Urteile 9C_842/2010 vom 26. Januar 2011 E. 5.4 und 4A_22/2008 vom 10. April 2008 E. 1 mit Hinweisen),
dass die offensichtlich ungenügende Beschwerde im vereinfachten Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG erledigt wird,
dass von der Erhebung von Gerichtskosten umständehalber abzusehen ist (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG),
erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien, dem Verwaltungsgericht des Kantons Bern, Sozialversicherungsrechtliche Abteilung, und dem Bundesamt für Sozialversicherungen schriftlich mitgeteilt.
