The Federal Supreme Court noted that the appellant had withdrawn the appeal against the judgment of the Lucerne Administrative Court. The II Social Law Division therefore discontinued the proceedings and ordered that no court costs be charged. The order was served on the parties, the cantonal administrative court, the Lucerne compensation office, and the Federal Office for Social Insurance.
Art. 32 Abs. 2, 65, 66 Abs. 2 and 71 BGG in conjunction with Art. 73 Abs. 1 BZP; withdrawal of an appeal: where the appellant withdraws the appeal, the Federal Supreme Court discontinues the proceedings and may, depending on the circumstances, refrain from levying court costs. The withdrawal renders the merits moot; the matter is struck from the docket by instruction order.

in Anwendung von Art. 65, Art. 66 Abs. 2 sowie Art. 71 BGG in Verbindung mit Art. 73 Abs. 1 BZP als Instruktionsrichter im Verfahren nach Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG
verfügt:

Das Verfahren wird infolge Rückzugs der Beschwerde abgeschrieben.
2.
Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien, dem Verwaltungsgericht des Kantons Luzern, Sozialversicherungsrechtliche Abteilung, der Ausgleichskasse Luzern und dem Bundesamt für Sozialversicherungen zugestellt.
