B.________ and J.________ challenged a Zurich Administrative Court decision that had reduced municipal social assistance repayment obligations to CHF 1,200. Before the Federal Supreme Court they newly requested a complete waiver of repayment. The President held that new requests are inadmissible in Federal Supreme Court proceedings and that the appeal also failed to address the lower court's reasons sufficiently. The court therefore issued a non-entry decision in simplified procedure and waived court costs.
Art. 99 Abs. 2 BGG, Art. 42 Abs. 2 BGG, Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG; new claims and insufficient reasoning in an appeal to the Federal Supreme Court. New requests that go beyond the relief sought before the previous instance are inadmissible. The appeal must, in a reasoned manner, confront the considerations of the challenged decision; a mere repetition of earlier arguments or a conclusory request is insufficient. If the appeal is manifestly inadmissible or insufficiently reasoned, the President may decline to enter into the matter in simplified procedure. Pursuant to Art. 66 Abs. 1 sentence 2 BGG, court costs may exceptionally be waived.

Dezember 2009, worin entsprechend den Anträgen der Beschwerdeführer B.________ und J.________ die von der kommunalen Sozialbehörde verfügten Rückzahlungsverpflichtungen auf Fr. 1'200.- reduziert wurden,
in Erwägung,
dass die Beschwerdeführer letztinstanzlich neu beantragen, es sei von einer Rückforderung gänzlich abzusehen,
dass indessen gemäss Art. 99 Abs. 2 BGG neue Begehren im Verfahren vor dem Bundesgericht nicht zulässig sind,
dass die Beschwerde im Übrigen den Begründungsanforderungen nach Art. 42 Abs. 2 BGG nicht entspricht, weil sie sich mit den Erwägungen der Vorinstanz nur ungenügend auseinandersetzt,
dass deshalb im vereinfachten Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist und in Anwendung von Art. 66 Abs. 1 Satz 2 BGG auf die Erhebung von Gerichtskosten verzichtet wird,
erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Verwaltungsgericht des Kantons Zürich schriftlich mitgeteilt.
