Der Präsident zieht in Erwägung:

Die Beschwerdeführerin wendet sich mit Eingabe vom 14. September 2008 ans Bundesgericht und legt gegen ein Strafmandat Berufung ein. Da der Beschwerde das Strafmandat nicht beiliegt, wird der Beschwerdeführerin gestützt auf Art. 42 Abs. 3 und 5 BGG mit Schreiben vom 23. September 2008 eine Frist bis zum 14. Oktober 2008 angesetzt, um den Mangel zu beheben, ansonsten die Rechtsschrift unbeachtet bleibe. Die Beschwerdeführerin hat sich in der Folge nicht mehr gemeldet. Auf die Beschwerde ist im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Ausnahmsweise kann auf eine Kostenauflage verzichtet werden.
Demnach erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Es werden keine Kosten erhoben.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird der Beschwerdeführerin schriftlich mitgeteilt.
