Faits:

X.________ a porté plainte pour atteinte à l'honneur contre A.________, B.________ et C.________.
Par arrêt du 13 mars 2009, le Tribunal d'accusation du canton de Vaud a confirmé le refus du juge d'instruction de suivre à cette plainte.

X.________ recourt au Tribunal fédéral contre cet arrêt, en concluant en substance à son annulation.
Elle requiert l'assistance judiciaire, restreinte à la dispense des frais de justice.
Considérant en droit:

En vertu de l'art. 42 al. 1 et 2 LTF, le recourant doit, à peine d'irrecevabilité (art. 108 al. 1 let. b et 117 LTF), motiver son recours en exposant succinctement en quoi, d'après lui, la décision attaquée viole le droit.
Dans le cas présent, la recourante n'articule aucun grief juridique contre l'arrêt attaqué. Elle dénonce de prétendues déficiences éthiques du système judiciaire et en appelle à un engagement humain des juges, mais elle ne soutient pas que l'arrêt attaqué violerait la loi telle qu'elle est (et non telle qu'elle devrait être pour être juste selon l'appréciation de la recourante). Faute de satisfaire aux exigences de motivation de l'art. 42 LTF, le recours doit dès lors être écarté (art. 108 al. 1 let. b LTF).

Comme ses conclusions étaient dénuées de chance de succès, la recourante doit être déboutée de sa demande d'assistance judiciaire (art. 64 al. 1 LTF a contrario) et supporter les frais de justice (art. 66 al. 1 LTF).
Par ces motifs, le Président prononce:

Le recours est irrecevable.
2.
La demande d'assistance judiciaire est rejetée.
3.
Les frais judiciaires, arrêtés à 800 fr., sont mis à la charge de la recourante.
4.
Le présent arrêt est communiqué aux parties et au Tribunal d'accusation du canton de Vaud.
