Der Einzelrichter zieht in Erwägung:

Der Beschwerdeführer wurde mit Verfügung vom 1. März 2011 aufgefordert, dem Bundesgericht spätestens am 22. März 2011 einen Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 2'000.-- einzuzahlen. Mit Schreiben vom 22. März 2011 ersuchte er um eine Fristerstreckung bis 22. April 2011. Dem Gesuch wurde entsprochen, und mit Verfügung vom 23. März 2011 wurde dem Beschwerdeführer eine Nachfrist bis zum 22. April 2011 angesetzt, um den Kostenvorschuss einzuzahlen, ansonsten auf das Rechtsmittel nicht eingetreten werde. Innert Frist ging der Kostenvorschuss nicht ein. Auf die Beschwerde ist androhungsgemäss im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG).
Demnach erkennt der Einzelrichter:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 800.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zürich, II. Strafkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.

Whether the criminal complaint could be entered into despite non-payment of the advance on costs
No. Because the advance was not paid within the extended deadline, the Federal Supreme Court could not enter into the complaint.
The appellant was granted a final deadline with an explicit warning under Art. 108 BGG that failure to pay would lead to non-entry. As the advance did not arrive in time, non-entry followed.
Allocation of federal court costs
The court costs were imposed on the appellant.
As the non-entered appeal was attributable to the appellant's default, the costs were charged to him under Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG.
