The appellant withdrew a criminal appeal by letter dated 10 February 2012. The Federal Supreme Court therefore declared the matter moot and struck it from the docket. It also decided not to levy court costs. The court noted that any request concerning installment payment of the fine and court fee had to be addressed to the lower court or the competent authority.
Withdrawal of a criminal appeal renders the proceedings moot; the Federal Supreme Court strikes the matter from the docket ex officio. In such a situation, court costs may exceptionally be waived. Ancillary requests concerning payment facilities for a fine or court fee are not for the Federal Supreme Court to decide in the appeal proceedings, but must be directed to the competent lower court or authority.

Die Beschwerde in Strafsachen wurde mit Schreiben vom 10. Februar 2012 zurückgezogen. Für das darin geäusserte Anliegen betreffend Ratenzahlung der Busse/Gerichtsgebühr hat sich die Beschwerdeführerin an die Vorinstanz respektive an die zuständige Behörde zu wenden.
Demnach verfügt der Einzelrichter:

Die Beschwerde wird als gegenstandslos geworden abgeschrieben.
2.
Es werden keine Kosten erhoben.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird der Beschwerdeführerin schriftlich mitgeteilt.
