The Federal Supreme Court examined a complaint against a cantonal supervisory decision in debt enforcement concerning a register extract. It held that the appellant did not challenge the cantonal reasoning in a manner satisfying Art. 42(2) BGG, so the complaint was manifestly inadmissible and was not entered into under the simplified procedure. Costs follow Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG and are charged to the unsuccessful complainant.

in den vorgenannten Entscheid,
in die Beschwerde vom 7. Oktober 2008 gegen diesen Entscheid,
in Erwägung,
dass das Kantonsgericht St. Gallen, obere kantonale Aufsichtsbehörde für Schuldbetreibung, auf eine Beschwerde nicht eingetreten ist, soweit der Beschwerdeführer darin erstmals vor der kantonalen Aufsichtsbehörde Rechtsbegehren stellte, mit der Begründung, die Aufsichtsbehörde sei Rechtsmittelinstanz,
dass die Aufsichtsbehörde weiter auf die Beschwerde gegen einen Entscheid des Kreisgerichtspräsidiums A.________ vom 13. August 2008, soweit sie nicht neue Rechtsbegehren betraf, nicht eintrat, weil eine rechtsgenügliche Beschwerdebegründung fehle,
dass sich der Beschwerdeführer nicht Art. 42 Abs. 2 BGG entsprechend in verständlicher Weise mit den Erwägungen des angefochtenen Entscheides auseinandersetzt, so dass die Beschwerde offensichtlich unzulässig ist,
dass auf die offensichtlich unzulässige Beschwerde im vereinfachten Verfahren (Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG) durch den Präsidenten der Abteilung nicht einzutreten ist,
dass das Gesuch des Beschwerdeführers um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege wegen Aussichtslosigkeit des Beschwerdeverfahrens abzuweisen ist (Art. 64 Abs. 1 BGG),
dass die Kosten des Verfahrens dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG),
erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege wird abgewiesen.
3.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
4.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Kantonsgericht St. Gallen, obere kantonale Aufsichtsbehörde für Schuldbetreibung und Konkurs, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
