The appellant withdrew his appeal to the Federal Supreme Court after the refusal of legal aid for lack of prospects. The President of the II Civil Law Division accordingly archived the proceedings as withdrawn and, in line with the appellant's request, dispensed with a court fee. The decision was notified to the parties and to the Cantonal High Court of Zurich.
Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG; Art. 71 BGG i.V.m. Art. 73 BZP: if an appeal is withdrawn, the President of the competent division may strike the case from the docket without a merits decision. On withdrawal, the proceedings are discontinued; a court fee may be waived in accordance with the circumstances and the appellant's request, particularly where no further substantive adjudication is required.

dass der Beschwerdeführer die erwähnte Eingabe (nach sein Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege wegen Aussichtslosigkeit abweisender Verfügung vom 6. September 2007) mit Schreiben vom 14. September 2007 zurückgezogen hat, die Beschwerde daher durch den Abteilungspräsidenten (Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG) abzuschreiben ist (Art. 71 BGG i.V.m. Art. 73 BZP) und (entsprechend dem Antrag des Beschwerdeführers) auf die Erhebung einer Gerichtsgebühr verzichtet wird,
verfügt:

Das Verfahren wird als durch Rückzug der Beschwerde erledigt abgeschrieben.
2.
Es wird keine Gerichtsgebühr erhoben.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zürich schriftlich mitgeteilt.
