The Federal Supreme Court took note of the wife’s withdrawal of her civil appeal against a judgment on protective measures for the marital union. Upon valid withdrawal of the appeal, the court takes formal note thereof and strikes the cause from the roll. Where the appellant discontinues the proceedings, the request for legal aid becomes moot and cannot be granted. In such a situation, costs are ordinarily borne by the withdrawing appellant pursuant to Art. 66 al. 1 and 2 LTF; the procedural termination by withdrawal precludes any further merits review.

considérant:
qu'il convient de prendre acte de ce retrait et de rayer la cause du rôle (art. 73 PCF par renvoi de l'art. 71 LTF; art. 32 al. 2 LTF);
que la recourante s'étant désistée, l'assistance judiciaire ne peut lui être octroyée et les frais doivent être mis à sa charge (art. 5 al. 2 PCF par renvoi de l'art. 71 LTF; art. 66 al. 1 et 2 LTF);
par ces motifs, la Juge déléguée ordonne:

Il est pris acte du retrait du recours et la cause est rayée du rôle.
2.
Les frais judiciaires, arrêtés à 300 fr., sont mis à la charge de la recourante.
3.
La présente ordonnance est communiquée aux parties et au Tribunal civil d'arrondissement de la Côte.

Effect of the withdrawal of the civil appeal
The court took formal note of the withdrawal and struck the case from the docket.
Once the appellant withdrew the appeal, there was no need for further substantive review; the proceeding had to be removed from the list.
Entitlement to legal aid after withdrawal of the appeal
Legal aid was not granted because the appellant withdrew the appeal.
The voluntary withdrawal meant the applicant could not obtain legal aid in the appeal proceedings.
Allocation of court costs after withdrawal
Court costs were imposed on the appellant in the amount of CHF 300.
Because the appellant discontinued the appeal, the costs had to be borne by her under the applicable cost rules.
