The Federal Supreme Court, sitting through its president, dealt with an appeal concerning suspensive effect in a seizure case. After first inviting the appellant to pay an advance of costs and rejecting her suspensive-effect requests, the court received a letter in which she said she was withdrawing her request. The president held that this letter did not amount to a withdrawal of the appeal itself, since it referred to the wrong filing date. Because the appellant neither paid the advance nor proved debit from a bank or postal account, the appeal was declared inadmissible and a CHF 500 court fee was imposed on her.
Art. 48 al. 4, 62 al. 3 et 108 al. 1 let. a LTF; non-payment of the advance of costs and consequences for admissibility. A declaration purportedly withdrawing a filing cannot be construed as withdrawing the appeal when it manifestly refers to another procedural act by date and context. If the appellant neither pays the advance of costs within the set time limit nor proves that the amount has been debited from a postal or bank account, the appeal is inadmissible. In such a case, the president may decide as single judge under Art. 108 al. 1 LTF, and the judicial fee is borne by the appellant under Art. 66 al. 1 LTF.

l'ordonnance du 20 août 2007 fixant à la recourante un dernier délai de cinq jours pour effectuer l'avance et rejetant derechef, pour le même motif, sa seconde requête d'effet suspensif;
la lettre du 1er septembre 2007 par laquelle la recourante déclare retirer "[s]a demande du 17 août 2007";
l'attestation de la Caisse du Tribunal fédéral du 13 septembre 2007;
considérant:
que la déclaration de la recourante ne saurait être interprétée comme un retrait du recours, celui-ci ayant été déposé le 2 août, et non pas le 17 août 2007;
que la recourante n'a pas payé l'avance de frais ni produit d'attestation établissant que la somme requise a été débitée de son compte postal ou bancaire (art. 48 al. 4 LTF);
que, partant, le recours est irrecevable (art. 62 al. 3 LTF);
que l'émolument judiciaire incombe à la recourante (art. 66 al. 1 LTF);
que, cela étant, les autres réquisitions de procédure de la recourante n'ont plus d'objet;
que le présent arrêt est du ressort du président de la cour (art. 108 al. 1 let. a LTF).
Par ces motifs, le Président de la IIe Cour de droit civil, vu l'art. 108 al. 1 LTF:

N'entre pas en matière sur le recours.
2.
Met un émolument judiciaire de 500 fr. à la charge de la recourante.
3.
Communique le présent arrêt en copie aux parties, au Président de la Cour des poursuites et faillites du Tribunal cantonal du canton de Vaud et à l'Office des poursuites de Lausanne-Est.
