The complainant lodged a complaint alleging denial and delay of justice against the Canton of Aargau High Court. Before the Federal Supreme Court ruled on the merits, he withdrew the filing by letter of 21 March 2010. The II. Civil Law Division therefore struck the case from the roll and ordered the complainant to pay court costs of CHF 300.
Art. 71 BGG in conjunction with Art. 73 BZP; withdrawal of the complaint renders the proceedings moot and leads to discontinuance by the president under Art. 32(2) BGG. In such a case, the costs are borne by the withdrawing party pursuant to Art. 66(1) BGG and the applicable cost provisions of the BZP. The court does not adjudicate the merits once the appeal has been withdrawn.

Art. 73 BZP) und die Kosten dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 71 BGG i.V.m. Art. 5 Abs. 2 BZP, Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG),
verfügt die Präsidentin:

Das Verfahren wird als durch Rückzug der Beschwerde erledigt abgeschrieben.

Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 300.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
