The Federal Supreme Court examined a filing in which the applicant sought revision of its judgment of 23 March 2011 and also referred to subsidiary constitutional complaint. It held that the constitutional complaint was inadmissible because such a remedy is available only against final cantonal decisions. The revision request likewise failed because the applicant did not set out the asserted revision grounds with the required precision or explain why they would justify altering the operative part of the earlier judgment. The Court therefore did not enter into either remedy and charged the applicant with court costs of CHF 500.

Where these requirements are not met, the matter may be dealt with in simplified procedure without exchange of pleadings and with summary reasons.

In Erwägung,
dass das Bundesgericht mit Urteil vom 23. März 2011 (4A_56/2011) auf die vom Gesuchsteller gegen den Entscheid des Handelsgerichts des Kantons St. Gallen vom 26. November 2010 erhobene Beschwerde mangels hinreichender Begründung nicht eintrat;
dass der Gesuchsteller dem Bundesgericht eine vom 7. April 2011 datierte Eingabe einreichte, aus der sich ergibt, dass er gegen das Urteil des Bundesgerichts vom 23. März 2011 subsidiäre Verfassungsbeschwerde sowie Revision erheben will;
dass eine subsidiäre Verfassungsbeschwerde nur gegen Entscheide letzter kantonaler Instanzen zulässig ist (Art. 113 BGG);
dass eine Rechtsschrift gemäss Art. 42 Abs. 1 und 2 BGG die Begehren und deren Begründung mit Angabe der Beweismittel enthalten muss und in der Begründung in gedrängter Form darzulegen ist, inwiefern das angefochtene Urteil Recht verletzt;
dass dementsprechend in einem Revisionsgesuch unter Angabe der Beweismittel der Revisionsgrund im Einzelnen darzulegen ist, wobei es nicht genügt, das Vorliegen eines solchen einfach zu behaupten, sondern vielmehr dargetan werden muss, weshalb dieser gegeben und inwiefern gestützt darauf das Urteilsdispositiv abzuändern ist (Urteil des Bundesgerichts vom 11. August 2008, 8F_10/2008);
dass der Gesuchsteller sich zwar sinngemäss auf die Revisionsgründe von Art. 121 lit. c und d BGG sowie Art. 123 Abs. 2 lit. a BGG beruft, dabei aber nicht in einer den Begründungsanforderungen genügenden Weise darlegt, inwiefern diese vorliegend gegeben wären und das Dispositiv des Urteils des Bundesgerichts vom 23. März 2011 gestützt darauf abzuändern wäre;
dass sich damit sowohl das Revisionsgesuch als auch die subsidiäre Verfassungsbeschwerde als offensichtlich unzulässig erweisen, weshalb diese analog zum vereinfachten Verfahren (Art. 109 BGG) ohne Durchführung eines Schriftenwechsels und mit summarischer Begründung erledigt werden;
dass die Gerichtskosten dem Gesuchsteller aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG);
erkennt das Bundesgericht:

Auf die subsidiäre Verfassungsbeschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Auf das Revisionsgesuch wird nicht eingetreten.
3.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden dem Gesuchsteller auferlegt.
4.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Handelsgerichtspräsident des Kantons St. Gallen schriftlich mitgeteilt.
