la lettre du 13 mai 2013 par laquelle le recourant déclare retirer le recours;
considérant:
qu'il y a lieu de prendre acte du retrait et de rayer la cause du rôle (art. 32 al. 2 LTF);
que le recourant supporte les frais judiciaires réduits (art. 66 al. 2 LTF);
par ces motifs, la Présidente ordonne:

La cause est rayée du rôle par suite de retrait du recours.
2.
Les frais judiciaires, arrêtés à 200 fr., sont mis à la charge du recourant.
3.
La présente ordonnance est communiquée aux parties et au Tribunal cantonal du canton du Valais, Juge de la Chambre civile.

Whether the withdrawn appeal should be struck from the docket
The Court took note of the withdrawal and struck the case off the docket.
Because the appellant expressly withdrew the appeal, the proceedings had to be terminated by striking the case off the role under Art. 32 para. 2 LTF.
Allocation of court costs after withdrawal
Reduced court costs of CHF 200 were imposed on the appellant.
As the appellant withdrew the appeal, he had to bear the judicial costs, which were reduced under Art. 66 para. 2 LTF.
