la lettre du 29 juin 2011 par laquelle le recourant déclare retirer le recours;
considérant:
qu'il y a lieu de prendre acte de ce retrait et de rayer la cause du rôle (art. 32 al. 2 LTF);
que le recourant supporte les frais judiciaires réduits (art. 66 LTF);
que selon la lettre du recourant du 29 juin 2011 l'intimée renonce à l'allocation de dépens en sa faveur;
par ces motifs, le Juge présidant ordonne:

La cause est rayée du rôle par suite de retrait du recours.
2.
Les frais judiciaires, arrêtés à 500 fr., sont mis à la charge du recourant.
3.
Il n'est pas alloué de dépens à l' intimée.
4.
La présente ordonnance est communiquée aux parties et à la Chambre d'appel en matière de baux et loyers du canton de Genève.

The Court took note of the withdrawal and removed the case from the docket.
Once the appellant withdrew the appeal, the Court had to note the withdrawal and strike the case from the role under Art. 32(2) LTF.
