The Federal Supreme Court did not enter into the subsidiary constitutional complaint filed by X.________ against the Cantonal Court of Zug in a state-liability matter. After the court ordered a CHF 1,000 cost advance and granted an extended deadline with an express warning of non-entry, the appellant still did not pay. The case was therefore decided in simplified procedure under Art. 108 BGG. The court also imposed court costs of CHF 300 on the appellant.
Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG; Art. 108 BGG; failure to pay the ordered cost advance after a duly warned extension of time justifies non-entry in simplified procedure. Where the appellant omits payment within the supplementary deadline despite express warning of the inadmissibility consequence, the Federal Supreme Court does not examine the merits of the subsidiary constitutional complaint. Court costs are then allocated according to the outcome pursuant to Art. 65 BGG and Art. 66 Abs. 1 and 3 BGG.

in die als subsidiäre Verfassungsbeschwerde entgegengenommene Beschwerde von X.________ vom 29./30. Juni 2007 gegen den Beschluss der Zivilrechtlichen Abteilung des Obergerichts des Kantons Zug vom 26. Juni 2007 betreffend Forderung aus Staatshaftung,
in Erwägung,
dass der Beschwerdeführer den ihm mit Verfügung vom 3. Juli 2007 auferlegten Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 1'000.-- auch innerhalb der mit Verfügung vom 27. August 2007 - unter Androhung des Nichteintretens im Säumnisfall - auf den 7. September 2007 angesetzten Nachfrist nicht geleistet hat, weshalb gestützt auf Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG im vereinfachten Verfahren auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist,
dass die Gerichtskosten (Art. 65 BGG) entsprechend dem Verfahrensausgang dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 1 und 3 BGG),
Im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG erkannt:

Auf die subsidiäre Verfassungsbeschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtsgebühr von Fr. 300.-- wird dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird dem Beschwerdeführer sowie dem Kanton Zug und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zug, Zivilrechtliche Abteilung, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
