The Federal Supreme Court dismissed the complaint against the Basel-Landschaft criminal court president’s order that retroactively extended the applicant’s preventive detention until 24 June 2009. In Erwägung,
dass die Präsidentin des Strafgerichts Basel-Landschaft mit Verfügung vom 27. Mai 2009 die am 27. März 2009 gegen X.________ verlängerte Sicherheitshaft um weitere 4 Wochen, d.h. bis 24. Juni 2009, verlängert hat;
dass das Bundesgericht mit Urteil vom 9. Juni 2009 (Verfahren 1B_157/2009) die Verfügung der Präsidentin des Strafgerichts Basel-Landschaft vom 27. Mai 2009 aufgehoben und die Sache zum neuen Entscheid an diese zurückgewiesen hat, damit diese einen Entscheid treffe, der den Anforderungen von Art. 112 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG genügt;
dass die Präsidentin des Strafgerichts Basel-Landschaft mit Verfügung vom 22. Juni 2009 die am 27. März 2009 verlängerte Sicherheitshaft "rückwirkend per 27. Mai 2009 bis 24. Juni 2009 verlängert" hat;
dass X.________ gegen diese Verfügung mit Eingabe vom 24. Juni 2009 Beschwerde in Strafsachen beim Bundesgericht eingereicht und eine Verletzung des Rückwirkungsverbots und des Grundsatzes ne bis in idem geltend gemacht hat;
dass die Präsidentin des Strafgerichts Basel-Landschaft mit Verfügung vom 22. Juni 2009 in Nachachtung des bundesgerichtlichen Urteils nochmals über die in der aufgehobenen Verfügung vom 27. Mai 2009 verlängerte Sicherheitshaft befunden hat;
dass nicht ersichtlich ist, inwiefern sie dabei das Rückwirkungsverbot oder den Grundsatz ne bis in idem verletzt haben sollte;
dass die Beschwerde, soweit sie überhaupt den Begründungsanforderungen von Art. 42 Abs. 2 BGG zu genügen vermag, als offensichtlich unbegründet abzuweisen ist;
dass angesichts der Aussichtslosigkeit des Verfahrens dem Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege nicht zu entsprechen ist (Art. 64 Abs. 1 und 2 BGG);
dass die Gerichtskosten dem Ausgang des Verfahrens entsprechend dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG);

erkennt das Bundesgericht:

Die Beschwerde wird abgewiesen, soweit darauf einzutreten ist.

2.
Das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege wird abgewiesen.

3.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.

4.
Dieses Urteil wird dem Beschwerdeführer, der Staatsanwaltschaft des Kantons Basel-Landschaft und dem Strafgericht Basel-Landschaft, Präsidentin, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
