In Erwägung,
dass X.________ gegen eine Verfügung des Bezirksgerichtes Zürich, Haftrichter, vom 9. Mai 2008 (betreffend Ersatzmassnahmen für strafprozessuale Haft) mit Beschwerde vom 4. Juni 2008 an das Bundesgericht gelangte,
dass der Beschwerdeführer das Rechtsmittel mit Eingabe vom 25. Juni 2008 förmlich zurückzog,
dass der Instruktionsrichter über die Abschreibung von Verfahren infolge Rückzugs der Beschwerde entscheidet (Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG),
dass das vorliegende Verfahren als erledigt vom Geschäftsverzeichnis abzuschreiben ist,
dass weder Gerichtskosten zu erheben, noch eine Parteientschädigung zuzusprechen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 1 Satz 2 i.V.m. Abs. 2 und Art. 68 Abs. 1 BGG).
Demnach erkennt der Präsident:

Das Beschwerdeverfahren 1B_154/2008 wird infolge Rückzugs der Beschwerde als erledigt vom Geschäftsverzeichnis abgeschrieben.
2.
Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird dem Beschwerdeführer, der Staatsanwaltschaft Zürich-Limmat und dem Bezirksgericht Zürich, Haftrichter, schriftlich mitgeteilt.

Whether the withdrawn appeal should be struck from the docket
The appeal proceedings were discontinued and struck off the docket because the appeal had been withdrawn.
Under Art. 32(2) BGG, the instruction judge decides on striking out proceedings after withdrawal of the appeal; therefore the case was treated as concluded.
Whether court costs or party compensation should be awarded
No court costs were charged and no party compensation was awarded.
Given the withdrawal, the court applied Art. 66(1) second sentence in conjunction with paras. 2 and Art. 68(1) BGG and ordered neither costs nor compensation.
