12.01 Scope and Application

12.01: Scope and Application (1) In accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. c. 146, § 2, the Board adopts by reference the 2021 ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section X, Fiber-reinforced Plastic Pressure Vessels. (2) 522 CMR 12.00 shall be applicable to the Construction, Fabrication, Qualifying Designs and Procedures, Testing, Inspection, Marking, Stamping, and Reports of Fiberglass-reinforced Plastic Pressure Vessels as used for the storage of compressed air and gases used for refrigeration, subject to the provisions of M.G.L. c. 146.
