The motion for immediate consideration is GRANTED.
The motion to review bond pending appeal is GRANTED pursuant to MCR 7.209(D). The
trial court’s March 26, 2026 orders granting defendant bond pending appeal and directing his release from
custody are VACATED, and defendant’s bond is REVOKED. See MCR 7.209(D); MCR 7.216(A)(1) &
(7). Defendant is remanded to the custody of the Michigan Department of Corrections immediately, and
this order authorizes all state law enforcement officers to arrest defendant and return him to such custody.
If defendant fails to surrender himself to law enforcement within 24 hours of this order’s entry, then he
shall be treated as a fugitive. Upon his return to custody, defendant shall continue serving the sentences
set forth in his February 3, 2015 judgment of sentence.
On the Court’s own motion pursuant to MCR 7.209(D), all further proceedings in the trial
court are STAYED pending resolution of this appeal or further order of this Court.
This order has immediate effect. See MCR 7.215(G).
