In its summer-session sitting of 23 June 1988, the National Council completed final votes on item 87.063. It unanimously approved the amendment to the Federal Employees Act and unanimously approved the federal decree on cost-of-living allowances. It also adopted the draft federal decree on an autumn allowance for 1988, but the matter was transmitted to the Council of States for further treatment. The document is a parliamentary bulletin entry rather than a judicial decision.

Where the chamber votes on a draft in final reading, approval by the requisite majority results in passage of the bill or decree.
