The Federal Assembly approved the federal guarantee for several provisions of the revised Basel-Landschaft cantonal constitution adopted in the popular vote of 22 September 1991. The guarantee was expressly made conditional on approval of the separate federal act concerning the transfer of the Laufon district to Basel-Landschaft. The decree was declared not subject to referendum.
Art. 6 BV; federal guarantee of cantonal constitutional provisions; conditional approval. The Federal Assembly may grant guarantee to revised cantonal constitutional provisions adopted by popular vote, and may attach a condition where the guarantee is linked to the entry into force or approval of a related federal measure. The decree is of no general application and, as such, not subject to referendum.
Arrêté fédéral concernant la garantie de la constitution révisée du canton de Bâle-Campagne
du 9 juin 1993
L'Assemblée fédérale de la Confédération suisse,
. vu l'article 6 de la constitution; vụ le message du Conseil fédéral du 27 janvier 19931),
arrête:
Article premier
La garantie fédérale est accordée aux paragraphes 41, 2e alinéa, 42, 2e alinéa, 61, 2ª alinéa, et 155 de la constitution du canton de Bâle-Campagne, acceptés lors de la votation populaire du 22 septembre 1991.
Art. 2
La garantie est accordée sous réserve que le peuple et les cantons approuvent l'arrêté fédéral du 18 juin 19932) sur le rattachement du district bernois de Laufon au canton de Bâle-Campagne.
Art. 3
Le présent arrêté, qui n'est pas de portée générale, n'est pas soumis au référen- dum.
