In an appeal concerning the restoration of a driving licence subject to anti-alcohol monitoring, the Administrative Court noticed that its judgment of 24 December 1996 incorrectly stated that the appellant had paid an advance on costs. As he had actually been exempted from such advance, the court rectified the dispositive. The corrected costs order simply charges CHF 600 to the appellant, and the rectification itself is made free of charge.
Rectification of a judgment dispositive; costs order and advance on costs. Where the operative part of a judgment contains an obvious inconsistency with the court's own findings, the court may correct the dispositive to conform it to the actual procedural situation. If the record shows that no advance on costs was required, the dispositive may not refer to compensation by such advance; the costs allocation must be stated in its correct and autonomous form. The rectification itself may be ordered without costs.

la décision du Département de la justice, de la police et des affaires militaires, Service des automobiles du 28 octobre 1996, subordonnant la restitution de son permis de conduire au contrôle de l'Office cantonal antialcoolique pendant au moins dix-neuf mois.
Le président,
constatant que l'arrêt du 24 décembre 1996 prévoit au chiffre III de son dispositif qu'un émolument de 600 fr. compensé par l'avance de frais effectuée est mis à la charge du recourant,
qu'en réalité, le recourant avait été dispensé d'effectuer une avance de frais comme l'indique le même arrêt sous lettre C in fine,
qu'il y a lieu de rectifier le dispositif erroné sur ce point,
décide :
I. Le chiffre III du dispositif rendu le 24 décembre 1996 est rectifié en ce sens qu'il a la teneur suivante :
"Un émolument de 600 fr. est mis à la charge du recourant."
II. La présente décision est rendue sans frais.

Yes. The dispositive had mistakenly stated that the appellant had paid an advance on costs; in fact he had been exempted, so the costs provision had to be amended.
