The Chamber of Criminal Appeals of the Ticino Court of Appeal dealt with an application challenging a no-prosecution order for defamation and slander. Before the merits were examined, the applicant filed a written withdrawal of the appeal. The chamber therefore struck the proceeding from the docket and ordered that no costs or justice fees be collected.
