The appellant challenged the compensation fund’s decision on supplementary benefits before the Ticino Cantonal Insurance Court. After the court had set a deadline for the respondent’s answer, the appellant informed the court that the appeal was being withdrawn. The court therefore held that the case had become moot and ordered it struck from the docket. It further decided that no court fees or expenses would be collected.

vista la lettera 17 gennaio 2004 della parte ricorrente che comunica il ritiro del ricorso (cfr. Doc. _);
rilevato che la causa è divenuta priva di oggetto;
viste le disposizioni della Legge di procedura 6.4.61;
decreta 1. la causa è stralciata dai ruoli;
non si percepiscono né tasse né spese;
intimazione alle parti a sensi ed effetti di legge.
