The appellant challenged a 3 October 2002 decision of the Cantonal Compensation Fund in a supplementary benefits matter. After the respondent sought dismissal, the appellant's representative filed a letter on 3 February 2003 withdrawing the appeal. The Ticino Cantonal Insurance Court held that the case had become moot, struck it from the docket, and ordered that no fees or costs be collected.
Withdrawal of the appeal; mootness of the dispute. Where the appellant expressly withdraws the remedy before the merits decision, the court strikes the case from the docket for loss of object and does not adjudicate the substance. In such circumstances, and absent special reasons, no court fees or costs are levied (consid. 1-3).

decreta 1. la causa è stralciata dai ruoli:
non si prelevano né tasse né spese;
intimazione alle parti ai sensi ed effetti di legge.
