The Ticino Cantonal Insurance Court dealt with two appeals against 13 June 2002 decisions concerning supplementary benefits. After the respondent compensation fund filed its answers, the appellants’ representative withdrew both appeals by letter of 29 August 2002. The court therefore held that the cases had become moot and ordered them struck from the docket. It further decided that no court fees or expenses would be levied. The decision was issued by Judge Ivano Ranzanici.
Withdrawal of an appeal renders the proceedings moot; the appellate court strikes the case off the docket. In such a procedural termination, and absent special circumstances, no court fees or expenses are levied (consid. 1-2).

decreta 1. le cause sono stralciate dai ruoli:
non si prelevano né tasse né spese;
intimazione alle parti a sensi ed effetti di legge.
