The claimant appealed a 13 April 2000 decision of the Ticino compensation fund concerning supplementary benefits. During the appeal proceedings, the fund issued a new decision on 25 May 2000 that partially granted reimbursement of medical expenses. The claimant then withdrew the appeal in writing on 6 June 2000. The president of the Ticino Insurance Court held that the matter had become moot and ordered the case struck from the docket, with no court fees or costs.

visto il ricorso del 15 maggio 2000 interposto da
contro
la decisione del 13 aprile 2000 emanata da
Cassa cant. di compensazione, 6501 Bellinzona 1 Caselle,
in materia di prestazioni complementari
letti ed esaminati gli atti;
richiamata l'ordinanza 17 maggio 2000 con la quale è stato assegnato alla cassa il termine di rito per presentare la risposta di causa;
rilevato che in data 25 maggio 2000 la cassa ha intimato al ricorrente una nuova decisione che accoglie parzialmente il rimborso delle spese di malattia oggetto della vertenza;
visto il successivo scritto 6 giugno 2000 col quale l'insorgente comunica il ritiro del ricorso;
rilevato che la causa è divenuta priva di oggetto;
viste le disposizioni della Legge di procedura 6.4.1961;
decreta 1. la causa è stralciata dai ruoli:
non si prelevano né tasse né spese;
intimazione alle parti a sensi ed effetti di legge.
