The president of the Second Civil Chamber of the Ticino Court of Appeal ruled on an appeal against a 4 August 2003 eviction order issued by the Bellinzona Pretura. In the appeal proceedings, the appellant requested suspensive effect. The court granted that request, expressly referring to Art. 508(2) CPC. The order does not decide the merits of the appeal and only preserves the status quo pending further proceedings.
