Art. 210-211 CPP; withdrawal of opposition against a summary penalty order: once the opposition is validly withdrawn, the criminal proceedings are struck off, the scheduled public hearing is cancelled, and the summary penalty order becomes enforceable. The competent authority may then return the file to the public prosecutor for any further measures within his competence. Procedural costs are charged to the objecting party absent a contrary basis.
