The case concerns roof dormer windows and the application of LCI 89. The court held, in the exercise of its free discretion, that the proposed dormers are not incompatible with the building's heritage presentation or the relevant aesthetic standards.

Dormer windows are permissible when, assessed globally, they do not offend the protected architectural or aesthetic appearance.
