The complainant appealed a judgment of the Aargau Insurance Court in a social insurance matter. The Federal Supreme Court had ordered an advance on costs and granted an extension until 2 September 2008, warning that failure to pay would lead to non-entry. As the appellant still did not pay, the President of the Second Social Law Division declined to enter into the appeal in simplified proceedings. The court also waived court costs.
Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG, Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a BGG; non-payment of the ordered advance on costs after expiry of the additional time limit justifies non-entry in simplified proceedings. The court may dispense with levying court costs under Art. 66 Abs. 1 second sentence BGG. The non-entry decision is a procedural consequence of default in the advance-payment obligation and does not require examination of the merits.

in Erwägung,
dass der Beschwerdeführer den Vorschuss auch innerhalb der Nachfrist nicht geleistet hat,
dass deshalb gestützt auf Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG im vereinfachten Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a BGG auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist und in Anwendung von Art. 66 Abs. 1 Satz 2 BGG auf die Erhebung von Gerichtskosten verzichtet wird,
erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien, dem Versicherungsgericht des Kantons Aargau und dem Bundesamt für Sozialversicherungen schriftlich mitgeteilt.

No. Because the advance payment was not made even within the grace period, the appeal could not be considered.
