The appellant withdrew his appeal against the Basel-Stadt Social Insurance Court judgment on an invalidity pension. The President of the II. in Anwendung von Art. 65, Art. 66 Abs. 2 sowie Art. 71 BGG in Verbindung mit Art. 73 Abs. 1 BZP als Instruktionsrichter im Verfahren nach Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG
verfügt :

Das Verfahren wird infolge Rückzugs der Beschwerde abgeschrieben.

Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien, dem Sozialversicherungsgericht Basel-Stadt, der Ausgleichskasse des Basler Volkswirtschaftbundes, Basel, und dem Bundesamt für Sozialversicherungen zugestellt.
