The claimant appealed a cantonal judgment that had refused an invalidity pension for lack of a qualifying degree of disability. Before the Federal Supreme Court could decide the merits, she withdrew the appeal in writing. The president of the II Social Law Division therefore discontinued the proceedings by order and, applying the cited procedural provisions, ordered that no court costs be collected. The order was sent to the parties, the cantonal social insurance court, the compensation office, and the Federal Social Insurance Office.
Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG, Art. 65, Art. 66 Abs. 2 and Art. 71 BGG in conjunction with Art. 73 Abs. 1 BZP; withdrawal of the appeal and procedural discontinuance. Upon a valid withdrawal of the appeal, the Federal Supreme Court strikes the case from the docket without examining the merits. The court may, under the applicable cost provisions, dispense with the levy of judicial costs. The discontinuance follows from the absence of a pending dispute, and the order is rendered by the competent instructing judge in summary written proceedings.

in Anwendung von Art. 65, Art. 66 Abs. 2 sowie Art. 71 BGG in Verbindung mit Art. 73 Abs. 1 BZP als Instruktionsrichter im Verfahren nach Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG
verfügt:

Das Verfahren wird infolge Rückzugs der Beschwerde abgeschrieben.

Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien, dem Sozialversicherungsgericht des Kantons Zürich, der Ausgleichskasse Versicherung, Zürich, und dem Bundesamt für Sozialversicherungen zugestellt.
